Performance

A performance with sound and video, dealing with the problems of today's Japanese identity, through the cultural conflict within Japanese cultural history; The dilemma of defeat, the time of student movement, globalisation, the high economic growth, counterculture, and the information revolution.The earthquake of 11.03.2011 also changed the concept of the individual in Japan drastically.

 

I wonder how it is possible at this time to achieve the self-realisation. This thought doesn't range only within Japanese context. In a global scale, how individuals can act in a human environment today? I act as an experimental object to penetrate more deeply into the matter of my question.
